The DoubleHeader addresses a common issue encountered by paddlers using two RotoGrips on a single side of their kayak. When using two RotoGrips, the entire length of the track is covered by the paddles, rendering the remaining track space unusable. The DoubleHeader's offset design eliminates this problem, allowing for the full functionality of the remaining track space for other accessories.

For anglers with limited track space, the DoubleHeader offers an additional feature – the ability to add LockNLoad accessories like YakAttack rod holders and camera mounts. This is achieved by replacing the stock knob from the DoubleHeader with the LockNLoad base of the desired accessory, enabling multiple attachments on a short section of track or a single point of attachment.

Compatibility and Security Features

The DoubleHeader is compatible with YakAttack's GearTrac, MightMount XL, MightyMount Switch, MightyMount II, and most other factory-installed kayak tracks. Included with the DoubleHeader are two Track Disks, designed to provide a snug fit in either the standard YakAttack GearTrac or the wider-opening YakAttack Top Loading GearTrac.

For added paddle security, the DoubleHeader comes with two SnapNStrap Security Tethers. These tethers can be used to secure the paddle, particularly beneficial for kayakers using pedal-drive or motor-equipped kayaks, where the paddle may not be needed at all times. The tethers can be stored in a convenient position when not in use, ensuring they do not interfere with paddle insertion or removal.
